Dave Lien is a highly skilled and dedicated optician with over three decades of experience in the field. Over the course of his career, he has had the privilege of serving and improving the vision of over 50,000 clients, earning their trust through his expertise and commitment to excellence. Certifications and Licenses: - ABOC Certification (American Board of Opticianry Certified) - NCLE License (National Contact Lens Examiner License) for dispensing - Optician License (LDO) in Washington Beyond his professional achievements, Dave is known for his passion for eyecare and eyewear. He has a deep appreciation for the beauty of the Oregon coast, where he enjoys leisurely hours watching the waves and finding inspiration in the natural world. Additionally, he finds solace and enrichment in hiking, reading, and indulging in thought-provoking movies. Dave's dedication extends beyond his daily work, as evidenced by his active involvement in various organizations within the opticianry community. He served as the Past President of the Optician Association of Oregon from 2005 to 2010, demonstrating his commitment to advancing the profession and ensuring high standards of care. In addition to his role in the association, Dave co-founded the Oregon Vision Coalition, a collaborative effort aimed at promoting vision health and awareness within the state. His forward-thinking approach and leadership have contributed to meaningful changes in the field of opticianry. As of 2022, Dave embarked on a new journey as the Founder and CEO of Eye2Eye Solutions Inc., a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and desire to make a positive impact on vision care. With his extensive experience and unwavering dedication, Dave Lien continues to shape the landscape of opticianry and vision health. Ann Slocum-Edmonds, OD, FVI
Dr. Slocum-Edmonds received her Doctorate in Optometry in 1989 from the New England College of Optometry, Boston, MA. Dr. Edmonds held positions as a clinical instructor at Pacific University College of Optometry and City University, London, England. As President of Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, Oregon Chapter and Co-founder of Oregon Vision Coalition, Dr. Edmonds has coordinated and lead vision care missions in Oregon, Colombia, Mexico, Ecuador, Chile, Albania, Peru, and El Salvador. Dr. Edmonds is a three time Humanitarian Service Award recipient from Pacific University Amigos Student VOSH Organization. She has lived and practiced in Oregon since 1989 and spends her free time with her husband and two boys.
Kerith Vance
Kerith has worked as a patient services director of sight and hearing related programs for the Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation since 2010. She is a board member of the Hull Foundation and Learning Center which serves adults with sight loss and blindness. Kerith also has volunteered over twenty years as a Lions Club member providing vision and hearing access for community members.
